    :razz: I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our late scampi meal last night. Thank you for your fine hospitality. Moira and I also called in on May 2nd and before you had properly opened you provided us with lovely scones and tea. It gave us the perfect start to Moira’s birthday on our way to Helmsley and the Feversham Arms.

    Probably the best pub I have ever visited. Food was all fresh home cooked, tasted wonder, excellent portions and great value. Waiting staff were good and made sure we had everything we needed.

    On the beer side, the Ales were all kept really well and were exquisite. The Saltaire Brewery Stateside IPA has to be tasted to be believed! Bar staff was knowledgeable and open to having a chat and a laugh.

    Overheard other punters saying very similar things. A great all round pub which I would recommend to everyone.

    I and my colleagues enjoyed our christmas meal on friday night.I would also add the breakfast is highly recommended.
